List your business

Questions

Good questions, plain answers.

Who can list a business?

A mother who owns a business in the United States, or who runs it day to day. She may share ownership with someone else. The form is her own statement, and that is what we ask for on a first listing.

Is a basic listing free?

Yes. You tell us about the business, we read it, and when we approve it, customers can find you. Paid memberships are launching soon, and checkout is not open yet.

What does verified mean?

A published listing means a person at MotherSearch read it and put it up, so customers can find a real business. The verified mark is a later step. When that membership opens, a person would check the owner’s statement that she owns or runs the business, and that the public contact details match the page. It is a careful look, not a license review or a rating of her work. No business carries that mark yet.

Why is the directory empty?

We are just opening, and we want the first names to be real. If you run a mother-owned business, we would love to read your listing. Be one of the first.

Do you publish reviews?

The page is hers. It carries the description she wrote of the business she runs. We do not add star ratings or testimonials on top of that.

Are there partner discounts?

When there is a real agreement, we will name the partner and the offer. Until then, the directory stands on the businesses themselves.

Can I take a listing down?

Yes. Write to hello@mothersearch.org and we will take care of it. The privacy draft says a public listing is deleted within 30 days of that request.

Is Match available?

Match is the planned membership at $39.99 a month, for a later way to receive client requests, on top of the verified benefits. It is coming soon. You can leave your email on the membership page if you would like a note when it is real. That note simply holds your place in our inbox.
