About

Mothers who own the work.

MotherSearch is a nationwide directory for mother-owned businesses in the United States. Discover. Hire. Empower.

The founder

Karolyn Vaughan founded MotherSearch. She is co-owner and CEO of Innovative Electrical Services (IES), Inc., a family-run electrical contractor in California. Before she led that company, she was a teacher. She is a mother, and the people who know her describe her as someone who helps a lot of people.

That care is why this directory exists. Mothers who run their own businesses are strong, independent owners, and they should be easy to find. A customer can look for the work she needs, meet the woman who runs it, and hire her. The list is just opening, so the first names on it will be real ones, each read by a person before it appears.

Who can be listed

This directory is for a mother who owns a business in the United States, or who runs it day to day. She may share that ownership with others. On the form she says so in her own words, and that is enough for a first listing. We read what she sends, and when we publish it, customers can find her and choose her work.

What you can do now

• Search for a mother-owned business by the work and the place.
• List a business you own or run. We read it, then it can go live.
• Write to us at hello@mothersearch.org.

Verified memberships and paid checkout are still ahead. A free listing is how a mother-owned business is found today.

MotherSearch, LLC is a California company. The site is mothersearch.org.
